Report Intructional media



            Media is a tool for helping teaching learning process. By using interesting media students can easier to undersatand the material that teacher teach them. This report about  instructional media that the observer have investigated in SMAN 13 Banda Aceh, on Saturday, on May 14th2017. The teacher who took for interview is a teacher that teaching in second grade of that school and the observation do in 2 IPA 2 class.
A.    Teacher Interview

The writer do interview an English teacher that teaching second year of SMAN 13 Banda Aceh. Based on the interview show that the English teacher in SMAN 13 Banda Aceh ussually using textbook in teaching learning process but not only textbook she use, the teacher also use others media that related to the topic. For example teacher use realia for procedure text (teacher brings kitchen staff that need includings stove), the teacher used board games for teaching grammar such as snack and leader and monopoly. In addition, the teacher also used picture for teaching descriptive tetx. When the observer do observation in the classroom the teacher use infocus media in teaching narrative text. The Method that teacher use in teaching is grammar translation method.

B.     Goals of Infocus media

After interview the teacher, the observer come to the class for observation the teacher how using the media. This media use as a tool of facilitators for educator and learners in mastering narrative text with using role play and infocus media.

C.    Procedure of teaching.

·         In the last meeting the teacher teach students about narrative text. 
·         Teacher devide students in some group and ask them to make power point about example of narrative text.
·         When class start teacher ask students to do presentation about based on their homework.
·         Students do presentation by using role play.

Conclusion

This media is effective to students in learning speaking and writing. Because all of students have to speak in front class without exceptions. By using this method the students also have to make their homework for the presentation, this automatically students have to study while do preparation.
