Wonderful Aceh



            Aceh is a province that located at the end of the west Sumatra island in Indonesia. This province have the various ethnics, cultures and languages. Furthermore, aceh have many places for traveling and picnic, such as Sabang island in Sabang, Lam puuk beach in Banda Aceh, Lake Laut Tawar in Takengon, and others tour places. This writen only discuss some tour places in Aceh.

  •       Sabang Island
        
         Sabang located beside Banda Aceh. This is one island that many visited by foreign tourists, because it have the beautiful sea. The water in that island is very clear, all component in the sea can see directly on the water surface.





  •  Lam Puuk Beach
          Lam puuk is name of one village in Aceh Besar, Aceh. This beach is many visited by Acehnese or tourist from other country. Because this places is very beautiful beach that suitable for refreshing and eliminate the stress. Many students of university who stress with homework and assignment, they come to this places for refreshing. 
 
  •     Lake Laut Tawar
       
           Lake laut tawar located in the center of Aceh, Takengon. The lake close to the Takengon city.  This lake is one of  lake that the water is tasteless in Aceh.  It has 70 km2 wide, and produce many fish. There is one species of the fish which only exist in this lake, the names is depik fish.


 
  •  Tapak Tuan Tapa

         Many places that have to visited in south Aceh, but the most popular is Tapak tuan Tapa. To comes to this place we have to faced some defience such as climb the mountain until pass coral slick, because this places located near the beach and far way from the city.


  •  Putri Pukes Stone

       
          Putri pukes stone is a stone of the princess that rebellious from her mother. That say, the legend of this stone story is there tradition of people from the village that when  the princess merried and go with her husband they cannot see the back although there is storm. But the princess do not follow the applicable traditions and make her to be a stone. The putri pukes stone is located in Takengon near lake Laut tawar.



  •  Kuala Paret

         Kuala paret is a beautiful river that is located in Aloy village, Tamiang Hulu, Aceh Tamiang. To reach that places, need 1,5 hours (from Kuala Simpang) by using motorcycle or car. First, the visitor have to go to Pulau Tiga and distance for that place to kuala paret about 20 km. The water is very clear and winding across the big rocks.

                When I was a child, I like collect story books. I bought snack only for getting the story books. One of the story that I still remember until now is the story about “An ugly duckling”.   This the story !                 Once upon a time, in a jungle beside the river there a duck was hatching eggs.   The mother’s duck hatching the eggs for more two weeks.
