[Ted talk] Don’t insist on English by Patricia Ryan

              Ted summary
Patricia talking about language loss and the globalization of English. She talking about her experience of teaching in Abu Dhaby. A language dies every 14 days. At the same time English is the undisputed global language. She was recruited by Britist council along with about 25 other teachers to teach English in Kuwait and they is a first teacher that non-muslim teach there. The reason of government  ask them to teach English because the government want to modernize the country and empower the citizens through education. Why the people would focus on English, this because they want give their children the best chance in life. And to do that they need a western education such as getting education at western university, so they have to follow the test of English. Another language can think that thought then  by cooperating we can achieve and learn so much more. People who no have a light whether it’s physical or metaphorical cannot pass the exam test, because the tester never know what they know. Mind you language, used it ti spread the ideas and celebrate diversity.
