Taree zamen par movie review

When I at second year in senior high School, my Indonesia teacher shown us an indian movie. The title of the movie is Taree zamen par (The little star in the world), this is to be  motivation movie for me. This is an Amir Khan’s movie. In this movie Amiir as producer, director and actor all at once.

Taree zaman par is movie that tell us  about a little cild is very naughty. His name is Ihsan (Darsheel Safary), he study at third year of elementary school. He is lazy, stupid boy and never get good achievement. He like to imagine the thing around him and he often get the problem in the school like do not do homework and skip the class. But he love drawing. Ihsan has a brother his name is Yohan (Sachet Engineer). Yohan has different character from Ihsan. He is a smart boy in his school. The teachers at their school almost do not believe that Ihsan is young brother of Yohan.

One day, when Ihsan’s father/mr. Awasthi  (Vipin Sharma) come back from his work, he get angry to Ihsan because he find the letter about Ihsan  was sick but his mother (Tisca Chopra)  do not write that letter. Yohan write the letter because Ihsan ask him to write. The next day, head master and teacher ask Ihsan’s parent to come to school for discussing about Ihsan behavior and goal of learning. The teacher do not want teach Ihsan anymore. Because of that thing, mr.Awasthi moved Ihsan to boarding school that far away from their house. Ihsan is very sad, because he do not far from his family.  He feel that his family throw him away.  Ihsan to be a quite boy, he never talk to the people around him. The teacher in that school is very dejected and they often say stupid to him because he cannot read and write. 

In the midst of his diversity, there is a new teacher Ram (Amiir Khan) who teaching Art. At  first day, he ask students to draw what they want, but Ihsan do not draw anything.  Ram feel that Ihsan seen different with others students. He looking for Ihsan’s background until meet Ihsan’s family. After Ram meet Mr and Mrs. Awasthi  he realize that Ihsan cannot read and write because his father is a selfish man. Ihsan have a dyslexia disease (a disease that a person is difficult to know numeral and letter. Ram promise to Mr. and Mrs. Awasthi to make Ihsan as a clever and good boy.

Ram teach Ihsan until he can write and read. Because he know that Ihsan like drawing, he make a drawing competition that can join for all people in the school including the teachers. Ihsan is the first winner of that competition and his drawing be front  cover of yearbook. The teachers in that school is very proud of Ihsan. Mr. and Mrs. Awasthi say thak to Ram because he have made Ihsan success. 

Moral value of this movie tell us how important parent in teaching their children. Parents must be the first teacher in learning for making good person in the future.
